CIA Director John Ratcliffe has made an unexpected, completely unannounced visit to Moscow. This wasn’t planned and almost certainly isn’t about peace negotiations. It points instead to sensitive intelligence or urgent back-channel talks.
The most likely reason: the CIA has picked up information about a potential escalation, possibly involving mobilization plans with Russia, Iran, and China.
These kinds of sudden trips are rarely good news - and strongly suggest the U.S. administration has received troubling signals of something bigger brewing.

Bridge Michigan looked at the state's 12 biggest counties with large Black populations. Stevens won seven of them by an average of 8.5 points. Wayne. Saginaw. Genesee.
El-Sayed RAN IT UP IN THE COLLEGE TOWNS instead. Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Kalamazoo. Almost 60 percent, and better than 70 in parts of Ann Arbor.
